about Malachi dads MINISTRY Canada
A Malachi Dad is a man whose life has been transformed by the power of God. He lives out his God given purpose dependent on a relationship in Christ, to lead his family as the spiritual servant leader of his home, to see a legacy of faith in his children and in his grandchildren. A Malachi Dad encourages other men to pursue this vision for their families to impact multi-generations to come.
Malachi Dads Ministry Canada exists to minister to and bring hope to inmates and inmate families through life transformation in Christ. The ministry teaches the virtues and responsibility of Godly Fathering and God’s call for every Dad to live out the message from Malachi 4:6, “…He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” (NKJ). Malachi Dads Ministry also reaches outside the prison walls to educate the community at large and establish a legacy of Godly fathering.

Tam's Testimony
"Malachi Dads Ministry has been great, it’s been showing me the way, opened my heart, my mind. It brought me closer to Jesus, showed me what real Christians are like, what love is. I just love it now, I want to bear good fruit and pass it on… I would say to have hope and faith in God and there is a reason for everything and it is God’s will. He will guide you through it, just ask Him to help you. Just ask Him!”
Gary’s Testimony
“Ever since I was fourteen I have been a drug-addict and a criminal, My God was drugs… You know my father was a criminal, he was sentenced to 21 years; I am a criminal, I got 18 years in…For the first time in my life I am sorry for my victim, for his family, I am sorry for my family, and really I am sorry for me…I am no longer a criminal, I’m really not, these changes may not seem big to people in society but these changes are huge, huge to me you know and I attribute a lot of it to Malachi Dads… You talk about restorative justice, my victim doesn’t have a say; if he did have a say, I would hope that it was about forgiveness, second chances and an opportunity for somebody to change…. I will be damned if my kids are going to follow in my footsteps.”

Malachi Dads Pledge
"As a Malachi Dad, I solemnly pledge to glorify God and build His Kingdom by prioritizing the raising of godly children, first in my family, then in the influencing of other men to do the same in theirs. I firmly believe that my transformed life in Christ, my life of integrity, pursuit of this vision, and the pursuit of godly character, will allow me to impact my children, family, and others towards this end. I will practice a life of daily discipline and dependence in God through prayer and the study of God’s Word, for the wisdom in how to “nurture my children in the admonition of the Lord. I will pursue this endeavor for a lifetime, whether my children are in my home or not. Finally, I believe that my end goal is not only for my children to walk in the Lord, but that this God-given vision would impact multi-generations to come. So help me God!" - Copyright by Awana
